Description: Unique ceramic dish executed and signed by the Danish ceramic artist Per Weiss (b. 1953) in 1990. The dish is decorated in colorful tones with a motif of Mysselhøj, an ancient burial mound located about 1 km west of Gammel Lejre near Roskilde, where both Per and Lene Weiss previously lived. The motif is inspired by the historic landscape surrounding Lejre and is executed as a unique artistic piece.
The dish has been assessed as a collaborative work by both Per Weiss and Lene Weiss. This evaluation has been established by our in-house appraiser as well as Hørsholm Auction House.
