Beskrivelse: Commemorative plate marking King Christian IX’s 80th birthday. Features a profile portrait, a leaf wreath, and relief lettering reading: “MED GUD FOR ÆRE OG RET 1818 8. APRIL 1898” (With God for Honor and Justice). Produced by the English manufacturer Wedgwood in 1898. In perfect condition. Stamped “WEDGWOOD” and “ENGLAND” on the back. Also bears the following text in the center of the back: “WEDGWOOD. Expressly Made By Hand for Goldschmidt’s Magasin. Copenhagen-Denmark.” Height: 2.3 cm; Diameter: 18.5 cm.
